Free Post (Trekking)

What are the things I like to do that I miss the most?
How long has it been since I've done that activity?
How did I start to like it?
What has been the best experience?
And what has been the worst?
What are my goals for the activity?

There are several things that I miss doing, and some of them have been going on for a long time before I went into quarantine, among them is playing drums and trekking. About this last one, out of university practice, I haven't done this hobby for about 2 years, and it was one day that I tried to climb the summit of La Cruz hill.

I started to like trekking seven years ago, and it was then that, together with a friend, we suddenly thought of going from San Cristobal Hill to El Carbon Hill, which ended up being an unforgettable experience, since I have never been so thirsty in my life. That is how I ended up climbing other hills here in Santiago, such as Manquehue, Provincia and San Ramón.

Of all the experiences it would be difficult to say which one I liked the most, however, the one I think I liked the most was when together with the same friend I mentioned before, we climbed the Parque Nacional Hornipirén, set up our tent and then from there we tried to climb the summit of the Yates volcano. It was a trip with unique landscapes and experiences, which at the same time made it also the worst experience, since it was also an improvised trip, where we didn't take water or food, besides getting lost on the way back.

Although, this last time my priorities have made me give up trekking, I would like to be able to do it at least once a year, besides instilling this beautiful and healthy activity in my son.
